After all that crazy — tv, social media, the weather — the conversation still seems to be focused on the concept of ‘overhyping’ the “near-disaster” that was Irene. 

Taking a look at these pictures (via The Atlantic)… I don’t know, I think overhype is a relative term. Well-prepared seems more appropriate.

That said, this little dude’s big grin makes me happy.  :)
